The smash burger is probably my top 3 in dc if not top 1 at the moment. Emanthal cheese. Dijon. Caramelized onions/aioli. Homemade brioche. Cornichons. Slivers of onions. And the fries are amazing. Service was friendly. They also have a lots of pastries that looked good. I've been there for dinner previously when they had the beignets and foie mousse that is divine. It's only available for brunch now. Worth it. Can't wait to go back. Burger for lunch/brunch only. Highly recommend. Would love to try their new prefix dinner menu. Yes they open for breakfast as well !!

Great spot for coffee and pastries. They have the viral supreme croissants if you've got a hankering for those. However, their croissants did not have the crunch I was looking for, although the flavor was pretty nice. All positive notes for the coffee though; would get again. Service was on point, and the restaurant is decorated perfectly -- definitely enjoyed the environment. Would love to go back for dinner or a full brunch!

We walked in and were immediately greeted by the biggest smiles from the hosts. The downstairs is this beautiful space with a really cool bar. It feels a bit more casual, but very cool. We were taken upstairs where the decor was immaculate- beautiful greens and golds - very cozy, which is perfect for a French dinner! Our waiter was lovely and explained the prix fixe menu to us and we then began our dinner journey. They automatically bring out bread, Comte, oysters, and chickpea chips - all delicious. We then ordered the escargot (my first time and so good!), beets w/ goat cheese, gnocchi, zucchini tagliatelle w/ crab, and charred octopus. Every single dish was amazing - and what's better is the woman who brought each dish over told us how to have the perfect bite! It was such an experience. For our mains we shared the two options they gave (each dish feeds two people). The chicken was tender and had a savory mushroom jus - really lovely. The Chesapeake Striped Bass en Croute stole the show for the main course. It was flakey, perfectly seasoned, and came with the most amazing spiced sauce choron. We needed the meal with their cherry inspired desserts, both terrific. They also brought out a pistachio ice cream with fig sauce for my husbands birthday that was my favorite dessert! As we left, my mother said "I think that's one of the best meals I've ever had in my life!" Kudos to the entire team at Petite Cerise! Can't wait to try brunch soon!

I just have to share how amazing the ham and cheese croissant at Petite Cerise is--it's seriously delicious! Picture this: a perfectly flaky croissant filled with gooey cheese and savory ham, paired with their awesome cappuccino from the cozy coffee bar. You can grab it to go or sit and enjoy the vibe. It's super convenient too, just a short walk from the Convention Center, and they're open Tuesday through Friday. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their menu--I can't wait!
